Even the most minuscule detail can affect the KPI reports of an email campaign so a properly composed email is pertinent to a successful deployment. I've made more emails that I can remember for a variety of automated drip campaigns and nurture streams. Here are a few examples of templates that I have built with custom CSS and HTML code.

Whether the purpose is to increase conversions, have customers sign up for a webinar or gate content I have produced dozens of landing pages. These landing pages are often coded to include metadata for SEO and designed in a way that is easily digestible for clients on any device. Here are a few examples of landing pages I have built for clients.

The following collections of screen prints were created for my printmaking and screen printing classes. I used a variety of methods to render different matrices to print from by developing different stencils which were either digitally created using adobe software or created using different mark making techniques. In January of 2015 my print Spring on Neptune was selected to be featured in a exhibit which was part of a month long screen printing event called PrintAustin from January 15th and to February 15th, 2015.

The mountain range collection was created for my screen printing final project. Of the collection my first print below, Spring on Neptune, was selected to be on display at the Bone Black Studio during the month long PrintAustin event. This print was also featured at the Proof Print Show at the Flexspace Gallery at Texas State University from February 23 to March 4th.

The Premonition of Saint Giles
This print appeared in the Proof Print Show at the Flexspace Gallery at Texas State University from February 23 – March 4th. This is a subjective screen printed triptych featuring an image of a statue of Saint Giles in Edinburgh, Scotland for the top segment, an image of clouds forming in the middle segment and then an image of a small portion of the ruins at Fountains Abby in England. This screen print is a trial proof from a short edition that is made up of 17 layers of ink.

For a campus-wide event, I designed custom name tags for the faculty members of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. The nametag featured an illustration of one of Old Main's spires, an iconic building that is often utilized in Texas State University's media and home to the School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

Growing up I had been fortunate to share my time in a more rural part of Texas at my grandmother's house who has several handmade chicken coops and flocks of hens occupying them. This composition was inspired by these moments and serves as a tribute to someone who has made a tremendous impact on my life.

At one point I created a website with a friend of mine to talk about superhero media. This is a particle animation that was used as an opening sequence for a couple of videos we filmed. The animation was created using Premiere Pro and we had a lot of fun with this project.

For an influencer marketing project, I created a website and produced a series of videos to review products. This hand-drawn animation sequence was from the opening title of the videos.

While working as a Web Editor at The University Star I had several opportunities to design some of the media featured on the site. Here are two examples of the graphics created which had been created in Illustrator.

For over a century, The University Star has been the staple of student media at Texas State University. This news organization has had dozens of noteworthy alumni including the 36th president of the United States, Lyndon Baines Johnson. It was an honor to develop a contemporary website that would support over a million page views within a year with a responsive interface for any device.

Soto & Co. makes some of the best-tailored suits in the market and had a store in the Domain at Austin, Texas. I worked with a colleague to transfer the website from Wordpress to Opencart to enable the owner the ability to sell products online.

One of the most rewarding aspects of a Media Specialist is having the ability to produce amazing projects. A River Runs Through Us is a perfect example. This multimedia story displays the work from some of the University Star's talented staff. This microsite featured an in-depth report of the 2016 memorial day flood that devastated part of the San Marcos community.

While working at Texas State University as a Media Specialist in the student publications department I had developed a search engine containing two decades of programming files that had to be restored on a macroscopic level utilizing Linux commands. For a well-culled product, the queries of the search results were manually entered and some files were edited with the help of a group of clever archivists working at The University Star.

Painting whether it be with ink, paint or watercolor pigment is a process that I find very relaxing and a great way to produce ideas with detail rather quickly. For example, the portrait of the man looking right only took 15 mins to create utilizing a wet on wet technique. The two portraits and the rendition of a famous Edward Hopper painting were created for a class at Texas State University. The jellyfish and the mosaic painting were passion projects and an opportunity to experiment with techniques in my studio.
